Third phrase

The third phrase begins in bar 18. The first four measures repeat measures 2 to 5 of the first phrase. In measure 22, Chopin moves to D-flat major using VII and V degree chords:

Fourth phrase

A fourth phrase begins in bar 26, with a faster harmonic rhythm similar to that of the second phrase. A V–I progression, now in D-flat minor, is repeated in measures 28 (B minor) and 29 (A minor). A cycle of fifths then brings us back to B♭ minor in measures 30 to 32:
