Structure and musical texture

A melodic line with a harmonic accompaniment in two voices emerges from the texture of arpeggios in triplets. These three voices form a rhythmic counterpoint. The following image illustrates these aspects in the first measure. We transcribe the upper voice on the first staff and the bass and internal voices on the second staff:
