You can use this application in one of two modes: simple interval or circular.

Simple Interval

Simple Interval joins with a line the two notes that form the selected interval:

  1. Select Simple Interval.
  2. Select an interval.
  3. A line is drawn between the notes (read the note in a clockwise direction).
  4. You can select the first note by clicking the note name or the related circle.
Circular

A geometric figure is created using the selected interval. The figure shows the notes needed to do a complete cycle and return to the first note utilizing the interval. For example, if you choose the major third, the notes will be C - E - G#/Ab - C:

  1. Select Circular.
  2. Select an interval.
  3. The image corners point to the notes needed to do a complete cycle.
  4. You can select the first note by clicking the note name or the related circle.
